in the story, it says that when sal went to a new school, that all the girls wore their hair in the same style. my conection is the opposit. when i was at my old school, all the girls wore their hair at shoulder lenght with layers and always in a ponytail, but when i came to El Paso-Gridley, all the girls wore different hair styles.
In this book I am reading the author says htat I Salamanca Tree Hiddle,was afraid of lots and lots of things.For example she was afraid of car accidents,death,cancer, brain tumors,and a lot more things.My connection is that I am just like her because I am scared of those things to.I am afraid of a lot more things than her a lot more.
