In conclusion to our class meeting, list your thoughts on a reward/consequence system for our class. You may choose to respond to other's postings in regards to their ideas for the system.
Also come up with at least 2 appropriate responses to teacher direction. ie "Sure thing"
If there is anything else that you did not get a chance to mention during the meeting, please feel free to comment about that as well.

I think a good reward would be that if you're good you can get a shark treat. Also if you're bad you get nothing and get ignored. Yes Mam, and right away would be my two appropriate responses.

I think that a good reward should be that the peolpe that were good get 5 points exrta cretie and have a pizza party,bring pop, and candy. Also have no homework. But the people that were bad can not be a part of it and have to do any homework or other missing assiments and be ignored like Zack said. I feel sorry for the people that are not in it but they have to relize to be good.My responds would be thank you eveything and thank you for picking this idea.

I think taking us outside to play for part of a period is a good reward. For the people who don't they can sit and watch, so that will make them think, why are they playing and not me and maybe next week they will change their behavior and think twice before doing something.

I think if you are bad,don't turn homeowrk in or talk without raising you're hand, you get a X on a sheet of paper on the wall.At the end of the week, if they have two or less X's on the sheet, they should get a free homework pass or Shark Treat(just ideas). My response would be right on it or yes or even sorry if you did somthing bad.

I say to reward the people that are good and NOT the people that are bad like a friday pary that you get to have games of get to go out side.
ReplyDeleteI think the reward system is good so that people who are always good and never get yelled at can get something for being good and the people who do not get the reward have something to work for so they can get the reward next time. Two thing I would say to a teacher are "I will get right on that Mrs.Mool" Mrs.Mool is just an example. The other thing is "thank you."

ReplyDeletei think that with the reward the kids who were behaving all week should get some kind of game day. though, if we did do as a class (if a group of kids misbehave then we all get a "check") and it is the same person messing sround continusly, then onlt that person should be punished. also, two thing people could say would be nothing or just ok.

I think that when you are good for 2 days straight you should get a small treat. And when you are good for 5 days you get a shark food. And when you get sent to the hall once for one minute. And if you get sent to the hall again 2 minutes. And if you get sent to the hall again you go to the office.

I think the reward system is working out great,but the detention thing just really doesn't matter to some people. Because after the first time ,some just dont really care if they get one or not. Also a few good responses would be: to smile or smile and forget what you were going to say.

I like the good bad and ugly with the end of the week party if we stay on the good or the ugly well now we are doing it every two weeks if we stay on the good bad or ugly.
